About the Conference

ICAPEPES-2026

The primary objective of ICAPEPES-2026 is to bring together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to explore the latest innovations, trends, and challenges in advancements in power, electronics and energy systems. The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration by highlighting cutting-edge research and practical applications of various topics in electrical engineering domain. It seeks to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas, enabling participants to advance their understanding and contribute to the development of efficient and robust engineering solutions.

ICAPEPES is addressing a broad scope of research topics and concerns: Power Electronic Converter Topologies, High Band Gap Power Converters, Gate Drives and control, Applications of Power Electronics in Power System (STATCOM, SSSC, UPFC, BESS etc.), Integrated Renewable Energy Systems for Micro grids and Smart Grids, Cyber Security, IoT applications in power systems, and more .

About the Department

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 1999 offering undergraduate programme with 23 batches already graduated and 24th batch graduating in the year 2026. The Department has started Post graduation programme in Power Systems and Power Electronics from 2012-2013. A good number of EEE graduates seek admission to higher studies abroad and also in IITs, NITs and IIMs. The department is involved in various ongoing research and consultancy projects. The Department has well equipped laboratories, and well qualified, dedicated, experienced and trained faculty with a deep sense of commitment towards the students and the college

All registered and presented papers from the conference will be published as a proceedings book volume in Springer EAISICC series and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library. This series is indexed in leading indexing services, such as Scopus, Ei Compendex, and zbMATH.

All accepted authors are eligible to submit an extended version in a fast track of:

Authors have the opportunity to publish their articles in the EAI Endorsed Transactions journal selected by the conference (Scopus, Ei-indexed, ESCI-WoS, Compendex) by paying an additional $250, discounted from the standard $400 rate for conference authors.

The article's publication is subject to the following requirements:

  • It must be an extended version of the conference paper with a different title and abstract. In general, 30% of new content must be added.
  • The article will be processed once the conference proceedings have been published.
  • The article will be processed using the fast-track option.
  • Once the conference proceedings are published, the corresponding author should contact us at publications@eai.eu with the details of their article to begin processing.

Vasavi college of engineering founded in 1981 by the Vasavi academy of education, is a premier institution affiliated with Osmania University inspired by the vision of Sri Pendekanti Venkata Subbaiah, a distinguished statesman of independent India.
